My takeaways were:
- To have to human experience you must have touch
- As technology begins to expand and grow in every aspect of our lives so would the need for touch.
- How massage therapy in the past has been misunderstood in athletics because the model of healthcare operates from a position of something has to be wrong in order to indicate service.
- How the experience of touch allows a person to be a fuller more creative and better performing human being.
- Benny shares his experience and work with the Olympic Games.
- Benny touches upon discrimination in the system based on knowledge/education.
- How massage can be a tool for delivering hope to those who are in pain.
- How massage can be a solution to the current opioid epidemic and the consequences of treating pain with medications that are addictive and destructive over time.
- How giving a person hope allows their body's immune system and all their physiology to work optimally.
- How adding science to what you do enhances your intuition - coaching or treating intuitively.
