Treat Your Hiking Feet Workshop

Treat you hiking feet workshop flier.png

We'll start out in beautiful Sellwood Park with a morning yoga class ( all about foot health and mobility) with Pamela Sery of Delightful Yoga.  She'll share with everyone a yoga practice that will prepare your feet for the trail and a reflexology technique with essential oils to make your feet happy.

Next we'll go for a hike together in Oaks Bottom Wildlife refuge, taking short stops along the way for stretching and mobility.   You'll learn how your feet relate to your proprioception and balance and how this translates to healthier hips.

When we make it back to the park we'll gather to talk about grounding nutrition with Allison Pelot of Integrate Yourself Podcast, and how by understanding your hormones better you can connect to your purpose with your nutrition and maintain a calm and grounded disposition as well as create the body you love.  She'll teach you how to use simple and natural digestive aids to create better digestion for hormonal balance.

Finally we'll have lunch together provided by Dick's Primal Burger . (vegetarian, vegan and paleo options available)

You'll Walk Away With...

This Workshop is for Everyone!

Shoes / Footwear recommended for the event:

Minimal shoes, zero drop (no heal) and no flip flops.  We recommend wearing shoes you'd wear on a hike (with the exception of hiking boots).  Regular tennis shoes are good too.

The Trail:

The hike we'll be taking together is a 3.8 mile loop.  It's easy, fairly flat with some gain and a little rocky.  We recommend wearing minimal shoes so you can experience more foot mobility out on the trail.
